In other Grand Prix action, Rich Fellers got the party started on Thursday night (February 24th) when he won the $31,000 Stongid C 2X Welcome Class, presented by Pfizer Animal Health, aboard Harry and Molly Chapman's Flexible. Fellers and Flexible have been the hottest pair at the 2011 HITS Desert Circuit, winning four Grand Prix events, including two of the three FEI World Cup Qualifiers that have been held, so far, this winter.

Earlier in that afternoon, Fellers was named the Catena Leading Grand Prix Rider at HITS Thermal and won a magnificent timepiece courtesy of Catena, USA. During the 2011 HITS Desert Circuit, Fellers won four Grand Prix events en route to taking home the watch.

At the top of the Pfizer $1 Million Rider Rankings is Rich Fellers who has won $78,600 in prize money. Fellers leads the way in prize money won aboard Flexible as High Performance Riders Across the country look to earn a spot in this year's colossal Grand Prix.

Fellers' Platinum Performance Award Winner

Platinum Performance awarded Fellers the Platinum Performance Leading World Cup Rider Award for being the top performer in the four FEI World Cup Qualifiers at HITS Thermal this season. The dynamic duo of Fellers and Flexible became a house favorite in 2008 when they won three of the four FEI World Cup Qualifiers held at HITS Thermal.

2011, Rich and Flexible enjoyed another stellar season with a first-place finish in the $50,000 CSI-W Grand Prix, presented by Pfizer Animal Health, during Desert Circuit II, a fourth-place finish in the $50,000 Strongid C 2X Grand Prix during DC III, a second-place finish in the $50,000 Purina Mills CSI-W Grand Prix, presented by Pfizer Animal Health, during Desert Circuit IV, and another fourth-place finish this past week in the $50,000 HITS CSI-W Grand Prix, presented by Pfizer Animal Health. For his efforts, Fellers received a one-year supply of product courtesy of Platinum Performance.
